Erie Buddy Walk

Getting ready for the Buddy Walk
On Saturday we did our first Buddy Walk ever in Erie, PA!  The Buddy Walk is to celebrate National Down Syndrome Awareness month (October) and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.

Me and the guy of the hour, my Noah!
We were thrilled that we had about 20 people at the Buddy Walk to show support for Noah.  Not only did we had my entire family there and John's family, my awesome golf partner, Vickie and her husband met us there!  It's such a humbling and grateful feeling to know how many wonderful people we have in our lives, especially to come out on such a rainy day for a 2 mile walk!

Waiting in the cold to begin

Luckily the rain held off during the walk and there were people on the sidelines cheering everyone on!  Everyone was in a great mood despite the cold weather and it was a great time!

Noah was bundled in his stroller and slept the entire time!

TJ and Papa had fun trying to hit balloons and run around

We had several families drive 2 hours from Pittsburgh to come to the walk.  Daryl, Melissa and Makenna and Chris, Kelly, Westin, and Vivian.  What an awesome family we have!

Noah is doing great eating solids!  Maybe eating too much!
